Fotógrafo y cineasta egresado de CENTRO (Ciudad de México).

Durante dos años formé parte de la apuesta audiovisual del periódico español EL PAÍS en América Latina como realizador y editor. Después trabajé por tres años como editor y jefe de post producción en el canal AJ+ Español de Al Jazeera.
 

Como editor y realizador he colaborado en proyectos de compañías como Columbia University, Radio Ambulante, Virtue, Central Films, Romero & Braas, OYE x J Balvin, Gato Grande Productions, Dromómanos, Propuesta Cívica, entre otros.

Actualmente estudio el Máster en gestión cultural de La Fábrica en Madrid y desarrollo proyectos de distribución y exhibición cinematográfica.

Mi primer cortometraje documental 'Hongo' fue parte de Visions du Réel Film Market 2021 y de la selección oficial del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia 2021.

I’m a Mexican filmmaker and photographer with +5 years of experience producing, directing and editing digital content. I started my career at El País newspaper where we helped in their digital transition creating lots of social media content that took journalism to younger audiences in Mexico.

As head of post production at AJ+ Español I created a creative team with specific workflows that combined the urge of breaking news with excellence as our quality standard. We built a huge and strong audience in Latin America along with innovative audiovisual narratives.

As a freelance video editor I’ve worked for companies such as Columbia University, NPR’s Radio Ambulante, Vice’s Virtue, Telemundo Noticias and more international teams that have trusted in my professional experience.

I like to push creativity with effective editing workflows to get the best of each video editor.
